
I read an article in the internet about the connection of weight or BMI to the risk of diabetes. I printed the article using my laser jet 1600 printer so that my friends can read it. Based from the article, there's no clear explanation as to how being overweight can increase your chances of developing diabetes. The assumption is that fats can hinder the production of insulin. Insulin is responsible for converting sugar to energy. When I read the article, I was scared because I'm a little overweight.
